2023 Christmas - HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Shalimar, FL     (Hi 56   Lo 37)  It's winter

Christmas Day was in our village lounge. We had turkey, ham, and all the trimmings. We had 15 sign up and 14 came. We had a great time and I got to meet two more people in our village. There's several that don't come out of their apartments. (Click on the photos to enlarge).

Missing in the picture a few gals.
Beebee is all dressed up for the occasion.
I got a gift that's so cute from Frank, our son a custom Lego's set. There's lots of small pieces.

Frank sent in a picture of Jim and me and this is what they made the Legos look like. Notice the pictures on the boxes.  That's really unique.  I received PJ's, and sweatshirt and several Gnomes. I had a great Christmas, even though I was away from family. There's several people without families this time of year and we're all family here.

My neighbor put up a tree that's by the road. It's so pretty.

I had a lot of down time the rest of the week. I got a few little things done and worked on my bead "painting".  I also ordered two more for spring and summer, of course gnomes.

I did a few things to get ready for 2024, like putting the budget together. This will be my first full year without moves and extra expenses. It's going to be interesting how I can bust or keep the budget on target.  I also made a to do list and that includes reading more this coming year. I have 125 items I want to make in crocheting and I'm not waiting till the last minute to get ready for the craft fair hopefully in September or October. I hope to do a couple trips and I'm sure I'll have people stop by.

This is to wish all my friends a Happy New Year. I'll continue the blog as I look back a lot and refer to things I do and places I go. I'll try to always keep it up beat and readable. Thank you for reading.
May 2024 be the best yet.
