Quiet Week - Crochet - Puzzle - More Activity in the Community

Auburndale, FL (Hi 65  Lo 54)

The cool down is very welcome after the storms. It's going to be warmer again later this week. This week was more quiet then last week. Spring break is in full swing and it will be another couple weeks before it's all over. We've stayed home for the most part. We didn't even eat out this week.

This week I worked on a crochet cow, smaller then the first one for an order. It's fun trying to make my own pattern, but ended up with part from the internet and part my own creation,

I also made some little chicks to go with the chicken and eggs. The chicken is just over two inches and the chicks less then an inch.
I also finished the peacock puzzle this week.
The community is trying to keep active. There was a St. Pats golfcart parade, they've had birthday parades for a couple people including a couple 100 year olds. They're having a grilled chicken sandwich and get together with distance outside coming up. It's good to see people again. There's also a day when the Johnson and Johnson vaccine is going to be given to all the residents that want it.

It's a great week to relax and get the crocheting done. Now I'll be working on a camel. It should be a cute one. I'll add it to the manger sets. Next week will be busier.

Glad you are finding ways to stay busy while staying Safe. Cute animals.
Enjoy!

It's about time.

We are looking forward to when our local senior center will be open again. We were just starting to attend when Covid hit. It is sad that over the last year several of the members have passed. It will be nice to join a community again like you have down there.
