Shiloh, IL (Hi 51 Lo 38)
Sunday, I ended up in the Youtube rabbit hole. I started out with just a curiosity and ended up 11 hours later watching all the info possible in setting up a car for camping. I found a whole series with women traveling alone OVER 60. I've watched a lot of setups but women over 60 in all kinds of vehicles really interests me. We were full time rv'ers for almost seven years. I'd really like to go part time and am researching for the best way to escape the high prices of a hotel room and food to get from point A to B the cheapest way possible. There's still places I'd like to see again or new that we missed while on the road. I'd like to see some people for a short time that I haven't seen in a long time. Gas is high, but if I can eat and skip motels, it's going to be doable. I'd like to meet up with some of the women on the road. I have a trip already planned and if that goes really well, I'll setup for what I'll need for longer trips. There's more research to be done safe places to stay for one night. Here's one setup I'm leaning toward except for the huge water canister to the left. I'm not taking that much water.
Monday was special, our 52nd wedding anniversary. The wedding day and a few weeks before Jim passed.
I spent the day with Frank and Angie. Frank and I went to see the movie Lost City. It's pretty good and we both give it thumbs up. I had dinner with them then came home to get on the widows zoom. It's a good way to meet people that is in the same boat with Glioblastoma. I'm very thankful for the group.

Hi Dee - Did you find "Cheap RV Living" down that rabbit hole?
Great site for living out of a car, etc. He interviews a lot of solo female rv'ers showing their rigs. Bob's been doing this so long he has most topics covered. He has also put together a non-profit to help people out with emergencies while living in an rv, car, etc.
Beautiful flowers to remember a so very special day.
I don't so much suffer from allergies but my gosh every surface is green. Especially by blue car. Your trips sound interesting. Waiting to hear how they turn out
Cool photo of the arch on your home screen! Went to the top years ago when I was braver....
Good to hear you are researching traveling for over 60 singles. Life is a series of journeys. You have completed a few. Go for it.
Great idea deciding to travel a bit. Maybe you can get out of the cold and travel to Florida for winter!
