LJL Hot Dog Roast - RV Dreams Mini Rally

Auburndale, FL (Hi 78  Lo  55)                   GROUP CHATROOM 9:00pm Eastern

This week (Saturday) started out with LJL (Lake Juliana Landings) hot dog roast. There were 92 attendees and we had a very good time. The weather this year was perfect. (Click on the photos to enlarge).
Thanks to Cindy and Bob for organizing the event.

Joyce, Donna and Diane helped with tickets and organizing.

Hot dogs, buns, the fixings, graham crackers, marshmallows and choc bar.

On Sunday we had another party in Lithia Springs Park. This time it was RV Dreams mini rally.
Kelly got the group together thru Facebook. Anyone that was in the area could attend.

The carry in dishes were wonderful and there was plenty of food for everyone.

Charlie (Dog) wanted a handout.

A beautiful cake brought by Ellen, chocolate and peanut butter. YUM!

We had such a good time and it was great seeing our RV'ing friends again. We hope to get together next year or in the fall.

On the way to the rally, we passed fields and fields of strawberries. It's Plant City strawberries that are sold around the state and country. It's a very famous place.

Wednesday we got a group together and went to Harborside restaurant for seafood. It's the only place that has Lobster rolls like they make in the Northeast.

Tuesday night we had the HOA (Home Owners Association) meeting. The clubhouse was packed. We're getting a new contract for garbage and everyone wanted to know the results. It's good too see so many people.

It looked like we ran out of chairs.

We got a couple doctor appointments out of way this week, good to go for another year.
Friday night Jim went to the Tampa Symphony.

It's always nice to see folks we know on a blog post. Been following blogs for both Jim/Diana and Bill/Kelly since they hit the road. Had lunch with Bill last year in Topeka. Small world.
