A More Relaxing Week

Auburndale, FL  (Hi 82  Lo 68)                 CHATROOM 9:00PM  eastern

It's more like summer then winter lately. We've had mid to high 80's and a little more humidity, but it's ok, it's better then being up north. Sorry to the Northern people.

Saturday we went back to Plant City and get another Cuban sandwich and Strawberry shortcake with Lessie and Ed. I've been asked what is the Cuban sandwich

Directions
  1. Mix mayonnaise, mustard, and cayenne together in a bowl to make the sauce.
  2. Trim off ends of bread. ...
  3. Divide sandwich ingredients between the two bottom halves in this order: 2 slices Swiss cheese, 3 slices ham, hot cooked pork, pickle slices, and 2 more slices of Swiss cheese.

I haven't crocheted for the past few months but decided it's time to get things made for the craft fair in November. It's going to take awhile to do my list. Easter is coming up so I started out with a bunny. He turned out so cute. I'm doing one or two more before going to the next project.

Wednesday and Friday we had another basketball game. It was Swish's birthday on Wednesday.  He's the mascot for the team and for his birthday all the local mascots got together for some fun with the fans. Their antics were really funny.

We have five more games to attend for the year.

The full moon was really bright. It's the biggest of the year, but it's also only February.

I pretty much haven't done much this week.  I've got all our packing done for the cruise next week. It's the first time we've done an all inclusive at a resort and this should be different and a good time with a lot of our friends in the community.

It's great living so close to ports in Florida. We don't have to worry about airlines to get to the ports. Next weeks blog will have a lot in fun and info. It's a mix of a cruise and resort.
