Day Trip to Busch Gardens

Auburndale, Fl  (Hi  61  Lo  48)

We've had tickets to Busch Gardens for months, but it's either raining or too hot when we wanted to go so we made plans for today. It rained yesterday and the temperature dropped to 60 today with a very brisk wind. We were glad we went by the end of the day. The animals were out and playing. The crowds were at a minimal. There wasn't very many concession stands open, but we found food with no problem. (Click on the pictures to enlarge).

I posted the best. It was a fun great day. We started out with a good breakfast at IHOP and got to Busch Gardens 10 minutes after it opened.

My favorite. I've never seen a real kangaroo.

There was an operation on a bird's foot and wing. This Dr office is on the TV show Wild Life Docs  on Saturdays.

Duck was coming out of anesthesia. They'll start rehab on Friday moving the wing.

The Christmas decorations were amazing. We didn't see all of them lit up, just got too cold.

It was a wonderful day having fun and seeing lots of animals.
