The yearly HOA (home owners association) party was Saturday. We had a great turn out of 175 people. It was hot meal and was served by the board members which took only 25 minutes. We had dressing and chicken, mixed vegetables, apple sauce. It was excellent. (Click on the pictures to enlarge).

The kitchen cooks and helpers were busy most of the day.

Everyone had a ticket and prizes were passed out.

The main entertainment was an orchestra from Winter Haven high school. They were very talented.
Jim had cataract surgery on Monday. It was three hours from the time we went in till we left. He could almost see better when he left except for the dilation. He got along well with surgery and on Wednesday with the recheck he almost has perfect vision. He goes back in three weeks and see how much more improvement there will be and getting reading glasses.
The rest of the week was a normal and uneventful. We're waiting for Christmas.
