(Elkhart, IN) Hi 78 Lo 48 -- Another day here in Camp Master Tech. We're both a little down, because of the frustration of spending over a week living in a parking lot, getting up at 6:30am every morning, and constantly being told "it won't be much longer." On top of all that, the heat pump on our new a/c unit isn't working. It blows cold air. Something about the Coleman adapter kit that makes the Airxcel air conditioner work with our old Carrier remote control. They'll try a new control board tomorrow, and if that doesn't work we'll probably get a wall thermostat installed. All I know is, we have family to see, and we want to get out of here so we can do that before the real cold sets in.
Maybe better news tomorrow. Sorry for being such a Gloomy Gus today, but you know those highs and lows of the RV'ing life? Well, this is one of the lows. But we're handling it a lot better than we would have when we started this lifestyle.
See you tomorrow.

How true. Ups and down and aggravation. We thought it would be easy but found with any life style there is going to be some bumps.
You have a good attitude and a suitable plan. Continuing happy travels.
Ouch! Sorry for your troubles. You're right. There are many ups and downs, some more expensive than others but that's the case in any lifestyle.
Great attitude and Tumbleweed will make an awesome park model one day :)
That period of time in a repair facility can begin to depress anyone:(
Since you know our history, you know that we understand exactly how you feel. Take a deep breath, give each other an extra hug now and then, and just keep on going. Maybe winter will arrive late this year!!
Hugs to you both!
Selene & Hank
You are taking it better than we would.
