(Raleigh, NC) Hi 87 Lo 60 -- The weather is perfect! As we reported yesterday, we have to move on Sunday to make room for State Fair vendors who will be arriving during the next two weeks. Today we went to check out a couple of RV parks in the area.
There are two RV parks about 25 miles south of Raleigh, Dickens RV Park and Jordan Dam RV Park. Jordon Dam has no sites available that we can fit into, so we'll be headed to Dickens. They have full hookups and free wi-fi, and the price is only $15 a day. It's quite a ways out in the country, but we'll put up with the drive for that price.
With all that behind us, we did a couple of errands then returned to the RV. When we got back I started going through all our "stuff" and separating everything that we haven't used in the last year or more. We have a lot of little stuff and clothes we're not wearing, which we'll bundle up and take to a local charity.
Tomorrow is Jim's eye exam and our dinner with our old weekly dinner gang.
