(Holden, ME) Hi 77 Lo 47 -- It got cold last night, but with extra covers I didn't turn on the heat and slept till 10:00 this morning.
I wasn't sure what I wanted to do today. I was going to do some sightseeing, but without Jim that just didn't sound good. I cleaned the place up a bit and waited till it warmed up outside then went to Walmart to get a styrofoam foam ball to put on my car antenna so I can find it when I park. I also got a few other things I've been needing.
It seemed everyone in the whole RV park was outside when I got back, so I sat outside the rest of the day. The neighbors are from this area and we discussed how things have changed in this area over the years. It was quite an entertaining afternoon. The pool was packed and RV's kept coming in starting about 3:00. It's really nice here with no bugs and friendly seasonals.
This evening I got a lobster roll from the restaurant in the park. It was very good, with a lot of meat on it. The gal said they make each roll from the meat of a one-pound lobster. I'll have another before we leave, I'm sure. It's put on a roll that a cross between a hot dog bun and a piece of bread. I've never seen that before.
I came in when the sun went down. Almost every camper around us has a fire going, with lots of people around. I can tell it's the weekend. Tomorrow is the last day alone. Jim should get home around 5:30pm. I'll probably not get up till late, that makes the day go so much faster.

Enjoy your "me" time.
I know you'll be so happy to pick up Jim at the airport though. Funny how it seems different alone in the RV vs. alone in a S&B. Must be all that togetherness :)
I agree with Gail. Being alone in the RV is so different than at home. Guess because you aren't in a familiar town, and you don't want to see anything without Jim. He'll be back and you can get back to sightseeing!
My Jim had to fly back to MT from AZ for a doctor's appt and I stayed in AZ with the girls. I waited anxiously for him to return also. But sure nice to have neighbors to visit with to pass the time.
The 'bread' on your lobster roll sure looks like a New England hot dog roll. It is top-split rather than side-split that is the norm everywhere else. Honest! I'm from Maine originally and miss them in the south.
Like you if Sherri is not around I don't enjoy doing anything like that. Be glad you are not in Texas...I hear it is still hot there!
Yea, I would miss Jerry and it would be even more lonely in the RV then it ever was in the house.
That lobsta roll looks like the one we got at the Orange County Fair at one of those new Lobster Trucks...not what we expected when we finally get to Maine, we prefer a much healthier portion!
