(Avon Park, FL) Hi 75 Lo 42 -- We're getting back to normal temperatures, this should be the end of the cold spells. April gets pretty warm, and we'll be on our way north.
I had to look up what day it was today to see what was going on. It's Happy hooker day, so I headed over to the clubhouse for the knitting and crocheting get together. I took my flag afghan to work on the stars and to thank the gals for all of their ideas. It will be done by next Friday. One of the ladies took my picture while working on it. Now I know how Betsy Ross felt. :)
I had enough time to get home, eat a bit of lunch and get to my chiropractor appointment. I'm doing well and the doctor was impressed with how fast I responded. I've had NO headaches and my hip doesn't hurt any more. I'll go three more times for some electronic muscle work, then I should be done. On the way home I stopped for a few groceries at Walmart. There's always something I forget and have to go back for. I have to put anything needed on my list or I won't remember it.
We both went for our walk, but I stopped to see a couple who are ex-full timers. They were on the road 11 years and settled in their park model last year. They used to live in Maine so I got some pointers for when we visit there this summer. We talked about our travels around the USA and compared notes on the places we've been. I love talking to full timers, it's so interesting. She still works as a lab technician and still travels, but now she flies to where she's needed and works in a hospital here in Sebring during the winter.
I got back home to make dinner then worked on the flag. I'll post some pictures when it's all done.
