A Crafty Day

(Avon Park, FL)  Hi 71 Lo 60 -- The first thing I did today was a two mile walk. It was breezy and chilly, great for walking, even with the higher humidity.

After my walk I read blogs and chatted, then went to crafts this afternoon. It was a day for making Christmas ornaments. I made a pair of earrings out of bowtie pasta, and a little Christmas tree from beads.

I came home and made a couple more ornaments, then we went to the clubhouse for pizza night. Ninety-six people came out, which is about the normal size crowd for pizza night.

Dee, Kathleen, Jon, Judy and Jim.

I love the decorated Christmas tree they have in the clubhouse.

The park pool is heated to 86 degrees. Every night they cover it to hold in the heat.

If the temperature is expected to be less then 65 they don’t uncover the pool that day.

We came back to the RV for a few minutes, then back to the clubhouse for card night. We have a great group playing most of the time. There’s lots of laughter and fun.
