Relaxing Day

(Beaufort, NC)  Hi 68 Lo 54 -- It was nice to sleep in this morning after three straight days of travel. We spent a leisurely morning puttering around the rig with coffee and computers, then went to spend the afternoon with Jim's mom in Morehead City. We sat and talked and got caught up on family happenings since we saw her last. Throughout the afternoon Jim's niece Jaime, his sister Robin, and his Aunt Roberta all showed up and joined in on the conversation.

Later in the afternoon we went to Walmart to get a few things and brought mom and aunt along with us. After dropping them off back at their homes we came back and got some dinner. Jim's going across the yard to watch the Vice Presidential Debate tonight. I'm getting pretty worn out by all the political stuff so I'm staying home with the TV all to myself.

We're really winding down from our busy summer of traveling and sightseeing, so our blog may not be as interesting. We'll continue to post every day, even if it's just a few lines. To all our loyal readers we want to say thank you, because it's you who inspire us to keep posting every day.

Even though most of us feel our everyday routines are boring and don't add up to much, there are many people out there that would love to be able to have even those days. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It's about time.

I know what you mean about the daily routines! Sometimes I go a few days between posts for that very reason. I admire the fact that you can still come up with something to say every day, even when there's not much going on. :)

I'm having fun with things to say everyday, now that we are actually doing things to talk about :)

I'm one of those who appreciates all of your blogs! Reading about your days adds something to my days. Being a caregiver is what we are suppose to be doing at this moment in our lives and reading about your travels allows us to dream our dreams while reading about your days. :) Thank you so much.

Your blog is the first one I go to every morning. Thank you for taking the time to post. I have learned so much from you about the fulltime RV lifestyle. I hope we get to meet one day.
