(Beaufort, NC) Hi 72 Lo 49 -- The plan for today was cleaning, and a lot of it. We got out the pails, brushes, cleaners, and water hose. Now we didn't do the work, we had hired help and they did a great job. First the RV. It's been awhile since the RV has been washed. Parks normally don't let you wash rigs or cars.
The guys also washed the truck and the car. They all look great! Too bad it doesn't last long, but at least we'll have a clean home and vehicles for awhile.
Jim and Jim (that gets confusing when we're here) worked on the kitchen faucet. The cold water was just trickling out of the faucet. This happened to us once before, and we blew some air through the lines to clear them out. The guys did that again and there was more black gunk in the lines. We're not sure where it's coming from, but we got it going full blast again. Thanks Jim for helping us.
It was a great day for cleaning and it's good to get it all done. I fixed a meatloaf for dinner for the four of us, then we settled in for the evening. We'll be switching between the NASCAR Nationwide race from Charlotte and Jim's St. Louis Cardinals playoff game.

You may want to consider a water softener and a sediment filter in front of it. It's not as extreme as you think. We don't have to clean faucet screens or any of those issues. Clean water lines and no build up, inside or out.
Hiring someone to wash the RV is a good idea. No more roof climbing for hubby - it's too dangerous. We had ours washed a few weeks ago - should have had the car and golf cart cleaned too. OK, maybe we are just lazy.
