Wedding in the Park – Water Shut Off

(Wauchula, FL) – The weatherman said NO rain in the area today, but it was very dark and cloudy with just a bit of sun once in awhile.  The whole park was waiting for the long awaited wedding to be over so things would get back to normal.  We kept busy and I kept checking on what they were doing at the recreation hall.  I walked around to get pictures of the decorations. (Please click on the pictures to make them larger).
The walk over the bridge.

Tables have centerpieces, but I think they added more later.

The shuffleboard court is right in front of the chairs and tables, so we didn’t get to "shuffle" today.

Then at 4:00 people started showing up.  It was like a parade of cars coming in. The music started at 4:30 and the wedding was at 5:00.  We had several neighbors come to our site since we had a good view.

The bridesmaids and one of the parents ready go over the bridge.

I took 71 pictures, which I put on a CD for the bride and groom.  I thought they'd like some photos from a different perspective.

Just as the wedding was taking place, someone just down from us hit a water line with their golf cart.  I wouldn’t even mention it, but it knocked out the water in the whole park.  If you look to the left (click on the picture to make it larger) you can see the water bubbling up.  When it was first hit the water went straight up in the air.

Jim's been hungry for pizza so, since we didn’t any water we went to Pizza Hut for dinner.  By the time we got back the water was back on.  We’re thinking it got fixed faster because the wedding reception was going on.

Earlier today I did a Google Map route of our planned summer travels. If all goes well we’ll travel 4830 miles by October 15, which is the date of a friend's wedding we’re going to in Indiana. It’s just as fun planning as it is going (almost).

The weather was fine, but there were a few  sprinkles as everyone was standing for the bride.  Isn’t it supposed to be good luck to have a rainbow on your wedding day?

It was a wonderful day in paradise for a wedding.  I’m glad we could see it, even if we weren't invited.

It looks like it was a beautiful wedding. Wouldn't you want to find a hold to crawl into if you were the guy who hit the water line? And they talk about women drivers, lol.

Wild drivers in the neighborhood gives you one more reason to keep some water in your fresh tank. You just never know when you're going to need it!
