Family Reunion with Extended Family

(Goshen, IN) -  There's been a few people wondering if our refrigerator is working ok now.  Yes, and it's amazing how well it's working.  It's colder than it's ever been and the freezer is working great.  I didn't know it was in such bad shape till after it was fixed.  The lettuce quit freezing and the meat compartment is colder. It's sure good to have it back.

My nephew Dave planned a get together today for all of my family who live in this area.  We left at 12:45 for Shanklin Park in Goshen. We were meeting up with my dad's side of the family.  A total of 32 came, including 16 grand children ranging in age from five months to 18 years old.  There were too many kids' names to remember, but it was sure neat getting everyone together and meeting the younger kids.

The baby enjoyed a lollipop.  Once she got it figured out how to lick it, she wouldn't let go.
This is some of the adults. Doug (Dave's brother) and Sally, Dee and Jim, Tina and Dave, Sarah (Dave's mom) and her son John
This is Dave and Tina (kneeling in front center) and their kids (and spouses) and grand kids.
We stayed a couple hours and had a wonderful time.  When everyone started leaving we invited Dave and Tina over to the RV for a visit.  Later Jim and Dave went to pick up some KFC chicken for dinner.

We want to thank Dave for getting the family together.  It's been awhile since we've all seen each other at one time.  It was a great get together.

Just before sundown I joined a group of ladies for a walk around the park.  We're moving in the morning to Elkhart to join the rest of the class of 2007 till Friday, when we return back here for the Escapees rally.

It's nice to catch up with relatives you don't see very often. I think I'm due for some catching up.

We had a Norcold fridge in our 5thWheel. It was about 16 years old when we sold the 5thWheel and still going strong. We never had a problem with it. I hope yours will now last just as long.
