It Must Be Friday, We’re Getting Neighbors

Relaxing day.   We got up, had our coffee, and read blogs, emails and general computer stuff.  It got hot fast, but the humidity wasn’t bad.  Jim did his daily check of the outside stuff then went on his walk.  While he was gone I cleaned up the RV.  It never takes long but it’s been awhile since I did the whole thing.  After lunch we drove about 9 miles south to Fair Oaks.  It was a nice drive through the country with nothing but farms and farmland.  We wanted to check out the location of Fair Oaks Farms,  a huge farm complex that has tours to educate the public about what goes on at a dairy farm.  We plan to take our grandson Jack sometime during the next three weeks.  On the way back we stopped for some groceries at a nearby IGA.  The prices were a little high, but for a small store they had all of the items we needed.

The rest of the day we watched rigs coming into the park.  It’s Friday.  We’ve been practically alone all week, now we have some "weekenders" around us.  A large travel trailer is now parked beside us. When it cools down a bit I’ll see if they’re sitting outside and go over to talk to them.

All of the campsites have a fire ring, but it’s way too hot for fires.  So far I haven’t seen anyone build a campfire. The last one we had was at the RV-Dreams rally back in March.  Someday we’ll have s’mores around a nice campfire.

Tomorrow we plan to be a little more active.

Hay we had a fire while you were here, doesn't that count?

So sorry, we did have a fire. I'm thinking campground, but yes, you did have a fire in a ring. My apology.

No problems having fires out west, we have cool evenings even on those rare days that it warms up and makes us believe it is trying to be summer.
