We didn't do much today except go to O'Fallon to see how the kids were doing with the yard sale. They had quite a bit of stuff to sell since they moved to a smaller house.
They were doing well, so we went on to Walmart for groceries. I vowed we were NOT going to spend so much this time. The total was higher then I wanted to get, but that should be it for another few weeks.
We are watching severe storms around us but so far they're all going north. We're debating about getting a weather radio when we start camping in the back country.
I had asked questions on how to deal with a shower that was beginning to smell like mold. I was told it's not using it that causes the drain to smell, and we needed to run some water in it. So I ran some soap and water through it and it now doesn't smell. Thanks for the suggestion; we're always learning something.
We're making plans for the upcoming week, so hang in there with us.

Dee, I use about a cup of bleach in a half gallon size pinesol. I shake it up and it becomes more cloudy, but does not seem to react. I pour this down each drain and use a little water with it, It even helps the black tank when poured into the toilet. I also mix it with water in a spray bottle and spray the underside locker where the sewer connections are. Helps all the moldy smells from sitting in the sun, or from being closed up without us being there. As you know, we tend to store our RV for several weeks or months as we are mostly snow bird campers.

Hey...I think I just learned how to stop my kitchen sink at home from "smelling"!!!! Thanks for the hint I'll try it as soon as I get back home.

You should list your stuff for sale online. There are several sites that will allow you to do so. I recommend www.privategaragesale.com because it's great and totally free.
