We didn't do much in the morning hours. The usual checking emails, blogs and watching TV. At noon our son came to pick me up for a delayed Mother's Day lunch. We went to McAllister's, a BBQ joint that's popular here in the St. Louis area. People come from out of town to go to this place. Its sandwiches are just great! I love the place, thanks Frank for taking me today.
Kyle, Frank, Banjo (dog) and Jim
When we got to Frank's place I called Jim to come on over. We stayed with the kids while Frank and Angie went to close on their new house. I'm so happy for them. We walked, along with Banjo the dog, about four blocks to the school to pick up the kids. That's good exercise when you're walking a dog.
We played with the kids for a while, then when Frank and Angie got back we went over to their new house. Angie's brother Jimmy and his wife Kim were there to see the house. The kids have a neat playhouse in the back yard. It's even carpeted. They'll have a ball playing in that!
We then had pizza for dinner, and we babysat the kids while Frank and Angie went out for a while. Kyle reads a lot and he's in the 39 Clues Club. There's cards you collect and some have questions you have to answer, then put it all on the computer. It's a fun way to improve reading skills.
It was a very busy day and we had a great time.

Sounds like a nice delayed Mother's Day out and then to play with the grand kids. So glad your new living arrangements of fulltiming allow you to spend so much more time with the family!
