Plans are Made - Grandkids (Troy, MO)

It was more humid today, so we had to run the A/C again.  Jim called the Elkhart County Fairgrounds in Goshen, Indiana, which is where the Escapees rally will be held in September. We have about two weeks between our stay at Indiana Dunes State Park and the rally, but we didn't know where we wanted to go.  We got a reservation at the Fairgrounds for all of those two weeks except for three days just before the rally.  The Escapees organization has the Fairgrounds blocked for those three days, so we have to check with them to get permission to stay put.  We're working on that.

We  left at 2:00 for O'Fallon, IL to our son's place to babysit the kids for the evening. Our son Frank and wife Angie went to a mystery dinner with some friends.  It's a great place in St. Louis where you eat dinner and then get involved in a play.

We took the kids to Imo's pizza then to the movie  Shrek 4, which was really good.  We saw Shrek 1 and 2 but missed 3, so they had to catch us up.  After the movie we stopped for ice cream.

When we got back to the house we walked the dog then played a couple of games. I've always wanted to play the game MOUSE, and then we played Pictoreka.   The kids make me laugh so hard.  We always have a wonderful time.
We drove back to our home in Missouri after Frank and Angie got home, a trip of about an hour and a half.  We walked in the door at 12:30am. All in all a wonderful evening with our wonderful grandsons!
