Found a Great RV Store - Oil Slick -- (O'Fallon, IL)
We did the usual coffee and computer blog reading this morning, then took off for the bank to get some questions answered on online problems. We also went to check on getting the brakes checked for my car. We have an appointment for next Monday for a full check and work on the brakes if needed.
We then looked for a local RV store that Jim found online. It was about 15 miles away, on the other side of Belleville from where we are. There's so many new buildings we didn't recognize much along the way. It's really built up around here. The store is huge - bigger than most Camping World stores we've been in. It has everything an RV'er would need. Camper Exchange, Inc. is the name, and it's located at 1401 S. Illinois St., Belleville, IL. If you're in the area and need anything, that's the place to go.
It stayed in the high 40's till about noon then went to 54. We're back in a tornado watch tonight because of a warm front coming in overnight. At least now we know where to go here on base if they evict us.
We've been following the news about the oil slick in the Gulf of Mexico. A website was given on our local TV station here that allows you to compare the size of the oil slick with metropolitan areas. Here's how it looks if it was placed over the St. Louis area:
I hope they can stop the leak, but the damage is already done for a lot of the coast line.
We rented a couple movies on base and will sit back to watch them tomorrow. It's suppose to rain and be bad for the next few days.

What is happening on our coastline is just heartbreaking! We spent last winter in the Gulf and that beach was just beautiful...white and clean. It is so sad. Thanks for the link...very interesting.
Take care,

The problem with RV stores for me is I always leave with less money than when I entered.
I am not sure how that happens -- but I think it is like a kid in a candy store.
It is always good to hear of the good ones!

Tornados again! This time of year sucks for weather. We have been lucky so far?? Don't know how long that will hold out.
