My sister and husband (Doris and Herm) have four BIG dogs. Doris is a certified dog trainer and has them trained well. They live on a huge property with lots of animals in the nearby woods. Possums, rabbits, foxes, snakes, deer, and sometimes cougars are around the area. Last night around 1;30am we hear the dogs barking and a squealing sound. I guess there's one less possum now in the area. The dogs were restless most of the night. At least we felt protected.
Doris also has lots of bird feeders. Two birds, not sure what they are. Doris told me but I forgot.
Doris is walking all four dogs. This is a daily routine and they do very well. Two are Akitas, the black one is a great dane, and the fourth is a rescue dog she just couldn't give up.
She has a Maine Coon cat named Buster that's gorgeous. The first thing we did this morning was start calling the RV places for a 50-30 amp electric adapter. The RV dealer in Troy had one so away we went. We got the adapter then went to a cute shop that has all kinds of crafts. It's the shop that made our wooden name plaque for the RV.
Next on the list was grocery shopping. We bought quite a bit so we went straight back to the RV to put everything away. Jim hooked up the adapter and powered us up. He then got the satellite dish set up and we waited for our home to cool down. It's in the 90's and after two days of sitting in the sun it took the rest of the day to cool down. I went to Doris's to watch the Lost finale that we recorded last night. I hated to see that show end.
There's some thunderstorms around but we got only a few drops of rain. It will be hit and miss with rain the next couple days. (There's lights reflecting from the window in the picture, it's not flying saucers.)
We had neighbors come over to check out our home and visit with Doris, Herm, Jim and I. Thanks Sandy and Ray for coming over and bringing some great food.
This is (L to R) Herm, Ray, me, Sandy and Doris.
It's been a very long time since I've been with sis more then one or two days. It was a great day for us and we'll do it again tomorrow.

Oh so glad you got the hookup now and can be back in your *home* !
And so nice to spend time with your sister too. I like your pace now of enjoying family and scenery and camping places.. not the rush rush rush of an annual vacation to cram it all in one week, eh?
