Major Earthquake in Chile - Still Saying Goodbyes

Cold windy day, but lots of sunshine. We woke up to announcements about an 8.8 earthquake in Chile this morning. Most of the day we watched coverage of the earthquake and going back and forth to the Olympics. Later in the day we watched the news on a tsunami on Hawaii.

We did leave about 11:30 for lunch with a couple that we meet with about once a month. It was another goodbye and we visited most of the afternoon. They came over to the RV to see it and was impressed on having everything we own and ready to move at any time.

We decided to fully pack up and get ready for our move tomorrow rather then today. Jim did hook us up to city water again, so I filled up the gallon jugs. I'll pack and secure one area at a time and he'll take down the satellite dish tomorrow. I also have the refrigerator to reorganize. It will be fun to finally get this all packed up. I still need to clean out the car and get it ready for the satellite dish which I'll be carrying. Tomorrow we want to see the NASCAR race and the Canada hockey game, plus packing up. I guess I need to get up early.
