Day 8 Seminars, Storms, Karaoke

Another 7:30am wake up time. It's great waking up to fresh air, no work and a great atmosphere. Coffee is ready with donuts when you go to the meeting room. I'm finally starting to pick up some names with faces, but the name tags are great so you're not wrong about who people are.

After our seminars we went to Kentucky Fried Chicken for lunch. It was trying to rain, but not anything bad. Storms were moving in so we knew we were in for some rain. When we got back to the campground it was raining hard at times and a couple storms moved in. Linda & Howard demonstrated how they put together their two boats under the big tent, which is quite impressive. We were suppose to see how to hook up the 5er but not in the rain. The storms pulled though with nothing severe and with time under the tent asking questions and learning from fulltimers the time past quickly.

We had the potluck dinner tonight. The chatters did a presentation and some chatting on the big screen to show what we do. We also gave Linda and Howard a plaque for the great work they're doing for us and keeping us vocused on fulltiming. After our little skit and fun time the karaoke started. There were a few participants and it was a great time. Speedy (Joe) put Ellie, Jenny, and me with Linda doing the song I heard it on the Grapevine, the difference was changing the words from Grapevine to Chatroom.

This is our last night here. We'll pull out for Graceland in Memphis early in the morning. We had to say bye to a lot of newly made friends and people I have chatted with for the past year. So sad. I'm ready to get some real sleep. Our bed is lumpy, bumpy and noisy (plastic covering). I can't wait till we get an RV so we can always have our own bed.

This campground is very nice. The others say it's a good one and the only complaint is people parked to close but for us looking at the whole thing, we'll be back, someday.

This is Sat morning at 6am. No time to post yesterday and I'm ready to go today. The birds are singing and the clouds are floating by. I'm sitting on our little cabin porch. No one else is up yet, or I haven't seen anyone. Life is good.

Days to buy the RV/Truck 2 yrs 11 mths. 1 day

Pictures will be posted later, just haven't downloaded them yet.
