Electric Company - Dental Insurance - Another Snow Storm -

Shiloh, IL  (Hi  37    Lo  17)

This is another week fighting with the electric company. What an ordeal. It's been since December that I've been trying to get two ebill payments from the bank to the right account at the electric company. The bad thing is the main office can't see what's been posted and has to rely on another area who is receiving payments and they won't answer the phones even for the main office. Talk about NO communication, it's the worst company I've ever dealt with in my life. If this ever gets cleared, I'm changing the way it's paid, I'll use a credit card. The payment is due Monday. They told me today they found the check and the website should be updated shortly, that was early this morning. I guess I'll have to wait till Monday to see if it's done.

I had another problem with the dental insurance. I had the military insurance on dental. I went to dentist in September after Jim died to get a tooth fixed. I got a huge bill and couldn't figure out what was going on. It so happens the dentist I was using was "out of network".  So I called to find out why they didn't tell me about the out of network, they said it's because you didn't ask. I asked if they took my insurance, yes, they did. NOT that is was out of network they file only.  So I asked what they use and it's another company so I went online to sign up for the insurance, why you ask? I'm checking reviews of dentists in the area that takes the military insurance and they're rated one and two, plus very few around here takes that insurance. I decided to get the one that's popular around here. It strange that the air force base is so close but no good dentists to take the insurance. It took 48 hours to get that in effect and get an ID card. I'm now in two plans because the military insurance isn't "in season" and I can't cancel till next November. There's nothing easy and it's driving me nuts. Jim was so good in getting things done, me, not so much.

It's snowing/sleeting again this week. Not just one, but two storms. The snow finally melted from last weeks storm so now we have more. The picture is all ice. It's very slick and no one is walking dogs on it. I'm so glad I don't own a dog, it's been bad getting them out walking. After two days of storms we ended up with ice, sleet, and a couple inches of snow. It should be warmer this next week.

I haven't had a hair cut since January 2. I thought I'd give put in  a picture of what I look like first thing in the morning for a good laugh.
I'm still crocheting an order, working on puzzle and picking at the guitar. I can actually do a few riffs and play along music with one finger string playing. It's a start, chords are really hard on old hands. I'm having a good time with the guitar and I'm glad I bought it. Once I can move the car and the ice melts I'll get out a bit and get groceries.

Lol. Thanks for the giggle. I had let my hair grow too. A niece saw a picture my sister who was visiting took last week. She said to tell me I needed a haircut. Agreed. I did the next day. How about you? Get one yet?
