Yard Sales - Dentist - Christmas 2020

Auburndale, FL (Hi 54  Lo 34)

This is Central Florida it's suppose to be mid 70's this time of year, BUT it's 2020 anything goes and it's with temps in the 30's in the mornings, it's not normal. It's the coldest since 1987 for this date. It will be back up to mid 70's this week.

Monday I went to a couple carport sales in the community. It's fun to see what people are selling and one had a Christmas village set that was a collection. I got there too late for that, but I did get a box of different types of trees for a good price. I'm thinking of changing the village to a summer time village so the trees will come in handy. If not I'll sell some of them. That's a good find.

Wednesday I was back with the dentist, this time the surgeon. I have a bottom tooth that needs a root canal and next Wednesday that will be done. I'm glad it's being done, it's a problem in sleeping and eating. The dentist has a full calendar, amazing. The medical field is one that will never go away, as long as your good and there's people you'll have a job.  In the evening we had a zoom meeting with the family. We opened gifts and got to see everyone.  Our oldest son and family, Frank and Angie, Kyle and Kendall. Our youngest son Rick and his son Jack.  (Not all are in the photo).

Christmas was spent with my sister and her hubby, Doris and Herm, in Okeechobee. We were up and out of the house by 7:00 and arrived at 10:00 with 45 minutes at a Waffle House on the way. There wasn't any traffic going down, but I think everyone was leaving grandma's house on the way back. It was a lot more crowded. We had a great dinner and visit then we took off for home just before the sun set.  We had a zoom meeting with our North Carolina friends a nice night in chatroom with friends as with every night and then to bed. It was a wonderful day.

Look what I received for Christmas!!   Baby Yoda

One more week and we'll be starting 2021. See you next year (Next Sunday).
