The clubhouse kitchen has been going through a remodeling phase. It was suppose to take two weeks, but as we know that's not always the case. It's been close to six weeks. We had our potluck party over labor day and had to work around not having all our supplies for the kitchen which were stored in the storage area stacked up. The potluck went off without too many problems and everyone seemed to love the hamburgers and hotdogs.
Planning committee Monday morning before setup.

Food table, lots of different items.
After everyone was seated. There were 110 people. That's about half of what will be here this winter.

Tuesday we put everything back in the kitchen. They finally got it done. All new cupboards, two new sinks and a new refrigerator.
We sorted everything out first and threw out all the old stuff that wasn't worth keeping.
Washing everything was another job then putting it away.
It took most of the day and with both days being so busy we were all ready for a rest. It's been a great week and a lot of people involved to get everything done. Thanks to everyone.
If I wasn't busy with the clubhouse I'm still crocheting for the bazaar that's coming up November 5. One of the gals gave me a yarn turkey and I wanted to see if I could make it in thread. Here's the result.
I also made owls with Christmas hats for earrings. I think I'll make reindeer earrings.
Just a couple more pictures from the hurricane Hermine. This is looking down the retention pond and canal to the left from the back side of the house. The water doesn't get any higher then this even in 2004 with 3 hurricanes that came through.
That's it for this week, see you next Friday!

Dee, I never heard if you were able to sell your fifth wheel?
So glad you guys were spared Hermine. You certainly are fitting in well with your neighborhood!
