(O'Fallon, IL) Hi 48 Lo 30 -- We had a leisurely morning but left around 10am for St. Louis to meet son Frank. I hugged Sis goodbye and went with Frank to spend the next couple of days with him and his family in O'Fallon, IL. The day was cold and overcast, but thank goodness the rain that was predicted didn't happen.
Frank and I went out to lunch at Culver's, where we talked awhile and got caught up with our lives, then ran some errands on the way to his place. It was great to see Angie (Frank's wife) and the grandkids, Kyle and Kendall. The boys are growing up so fast! We all went out to dinner and had a wonderful evening of fun and laughter. I'm here till early Sunday morning, and tomorrow we're going to watch Kendall play in two basketball games.
Jim's still holding down the fort down in Florida. Last time I talked with him he said it's been in the 80's. That sure sounds nice!
