(Avon Park, FL) Hi 73 Lo 66
Saturday, November 23:
We started out early for Kendall’s basketball games in Troy, IL. (Funny, my sister lives in Troy, MO; we went to Troy, IL for the games. Son Frank lives in O'Fallon, IL, and there's an O'Fallon, MO not far from Sis's place.) Kendall's plays in a fifth grade league. He wasn’t feeling real well, but he did a great job playing in two games. (Click on pictures to enlarge)
Kendall is at the free throw line, number 51.
His team won both games! Afterward we had lunch at a great Mexican restaurant on the way home. It was really chilly and windy so we didn’t do much the rest of the day. We all watched TV and had our noses in our smart phones. Later in the evening we played cards.

My handsome son
Sunday, November 24:
It was 14 degrees early this morning when Frank took me to the airport for my trip back home to Florida, and my lonely hubby Jim. It was a great non-stop flight to Tampa. I was so happy to be back in Florida! It was 73 degrees, very balmy to me, but Jim was complaining about how it cooled down overnight. Before heading home we drove across Tampa Bay to St. Petersburg to meet up with Gail and Ed, and Anna and Gale at the Casual Clam seafood restaurant for a late lunch. It was only 20 minutes from the airport and I was hungry. We visited and talked RV’s till almost dinner time.
Anna, Dee, Gail, Ed, Jim, Gale
Gail and Ed are down from New Jersey to spend Thanksgiving with their family. We visited with them in NJ this past summer. Anna and Gale live in an RV park in St. Pete. It was great seeing them all again. Thanks everyone for coming out today to meet with us.
We got home shortly after dark and just relaxed the rest of the evening. I'll unpack tomorrow. It’s so good to be home with Jim and warmer weather.

We have the fireplace running tonight! This is Florida? :)
I'm with Jim - way too cold even here in AZ. I want my warm weather back again. So who was happier - you or Jim at being home again.
There is no place like home, unless you are traveling in an RV.
So glad you were able to spend some time with your son Frank and his family, and you had a great trip back home to Jim! Enjoy those nice warm Florida temps!
Way too cold in Texas, hoping for Arizona to warm up for us and Florida for you guys.
