(Moncure, NC) Hi 85 Lo 65 -- We're being evicted from the NC State Fairgrounds to make room for the vendors and workers coming in for the NC State Fair, which starts on Oct 17.
We took our time getting ready this morning and finally got on the road around 11:30. We only had to move about 25 miles south of Raleigh to Dickson RV Park in Moncure. The park is about five miles off U.S. 1 out in the country, and is flat, open, and basically a large gravel lot. We got a full hookup back-in site next door to our good friends Hank and Selene, who live in this area. They're full timers and are putting their house up for sale this week.
We're here for one week before moving to the coast to visit with Jim's family for a couple of weeks. We don't have a lot planned for the week, mainly waiting for our new glasses to come in, and a couple more get togethers with friends.

Not having too much planned can be a good thing. Especially after running around a lot. So enjoy and have a good time with friends.
