Cards Win! - Another Rainy Day

(Havelock, NC) Hi 74 Lo 66 -- Let's hear it for the St. Louis Cardinals, Jim's favorite sports team. They beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 4 games to 2 to win the National League pennant and will be in the World Series next week for the 4th time in the last 10 years, and the 19th time overall (winning 11 times).

Looks like I'll be a "baseball widow" for another couple of weeks. :)

It rained off and on all night, just enough to wake us up. It continued to rain today, but Judy and I went grocery shopping in between rain showers.

It was a kick back day. We watched the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race this afternoon, and I read a few blogs to catch up. I noticed there are a lot of people headed to Florida this winter. We may be doing a lot of visiting this year, which will be great!  Jim read and played with the new Nexus7 tablet. They've come a long with those tablets. Our wi-fi has been stronger since they did some maintenance on the tower yesterday.

All in all, a typical lazy day.
