Searching for Vermont Sights

(Dummerston, VT) Hi 78 Lo 56 -- We're enjoying the wonderful temperatures we're having this year. It's been not nearly as hot as last year. It's predicted to be in high 30's this Friday morning. Now it's time to move south.

We didn't do much today. Jim sat outside and read while I cleaned the RV. It was time for a good going over with all the dust and the little bitty stones from the driveways in our parking areas lately.

This afternoon I looked online for things to do in this area. I found that Vermont Country store is not far away, and there's a lot of covered bridges nearby. I did a map on each one so tomorrow we're going out for the day to do some sightseeing. I also checked to see if there was a geocache nearby, and found one right here on the property. Now I have a find in Vermont.

It's was a quiet but very productive day.

I love those covered bridges in Vermont. I get an online ad from the Vermont Country Store and wish I could actually shop there sometime (not online).

Based on the predicted lows in your area Judy and I made the right decision not to try to get up to New England this late. It won't belong though before y'all will be back down south.
