What to do Next?

(AF Academy, Colorado Springs, CO) Hi 86 Lo 56 -- We were whipped after this last week's fun. We needed a day in to catch up on home life.

Jim worked on our future plans and made some calls to RV parks. Later this morning he did the laundry, and I cleaned up a bit. I also worked on putting some things back in their place to get ready for our move this Monday.

We watched the Olympics and recorded TV shows all afternoon. It was just a down day to see what we want to do the rest of the week. There's still so many things to see around here, but whatever we don't get to on this trip we'll save it for next time we're in the area.

People are coming and going every day in the park. We seldom see anyone in the park because everyone's out seeing the sights like us. Our neighbors we had yesterday were gone this morning, so it's one of those parks where we don't get to meet very many people.

Tomorrow will be a lot more interesting. We're going on our last big sightseeing day before we leave. Stay tuned.

There is so much to do within a couple of hours of Colo. Springs, and you are in the perfect place. Glad you are enjoying it.

I enjoyed your beautiful photos from the train. We did a "Tracks" tour last year and the rest of the group did the bridge area, but like you, we decided to go on the train instead. We really enjoyed the scenery and some of our group waved to us from an overlook at the bridge as we passed along the river at the bottom.
