Visitors

(Raleigh, NC) Hi 77 Lo 53 --  Great day weather wise. Very chilly in the morning but with the fireplace it warmed up nicely, then later in the afternoon we turned on the AC to cool it down till sundown.

Today Jill and Paul drove down from Wake Forest to visit us.

We met Jill and Paul early in our full time journey. It seems like a long time ago now. We met up with them again at the RV-Dreams rally in Myrtle Beach, SC last spring. They went last week to this year's rally in Tennessee and we were anxious to hear all about it. They're working hard getting their house ready to sell in June, and excited about going on the road full time in their Montana fifth wheel. After some good conversation at our place we went out to lunch and talked some more. It was great hearing all about their plans. It brought back memories of what we went through. They were eager to hear about our first year on the road, and it was fun and rewarding to share our experiences. They plan to spend part of next winter in Florida, so we hope to meet up down there. Thank you Jill and Paul for coming today, it was great seeing you again.

Jim and I worked most of the evening setting up our backup laptop so I can use it while I have Windows 7 installed on my main laptop.  I'm still using XP, so it's time to upgrade. I hate loading software and getting things to work. Jim is real good at it, so I was turning over a few things to him to get it working. I'm slowly getting things loaded.

We met them at the rally. Such a great couple! We drooled over their Montana, as that's what we want!

Newcomers Meeting - Zoom - Emerald Coast Band

Shalimar, FL  (Hi 64  Lo 40)   This week went so slow. When you're retired the days get all mixed up and some go so slow you skip a day...
