(Wauchula, FL) Hi 82 Lo 58 -- Quiet morning doing our normal lazy, retired kind of stuff. Then later I worked on the monthly budget and Jim did our taxes. Both turned out very well. Our eating out budget is still over, but not like it has been. Our overall budget is under for the month, so that's good. We've been on the road one year on the sixth of this month, so I'll start working on a recap of our first year.
I'm still learning Twitter and found there's several of the RV'ers from RV-Dreams on it. I'm also following a few of the celebrities just for fun. Thanks to those that has answered the invite. If you're interested and on Twitter the name is @deewalt43. I don't post very often, but if sometime big happens I'll say something. I think it's a short version of what's put on facebook. Jim also started an account (@jwalt43) but he'll probably post even less often than me.
I chatted with mom a few minutes and decided before prices go up to go ahead and get the airline tickets for our trip in May. I'm flying mom out to my sister's in St. Louis while we're in NC. Delta has a non-stop flight and it's only a two-hour flight. We'll stay the weekend so all three of us will be together. I needed to print out the tickets and realized the print cartridge was out of ink, so made a quick trip to Walmart to get one.
I visited with our neighbors Dan and Gail for a while before cooking dinner. Then I went over to the clubhouse for the weekly music jam session while Jim watched his Carolina Hurricanes hockey game on TV.
I'll leave you with this humorous photo I received in an email:

It's good to know we are not the only ones who are over on the eating out budget item.
Started to try out Twitter a while back but my Starter broke. May take another look at it.
