Anniversary Event, Quite a Surprise!

We got up to SUN, it's finally not raining and the temperature is in the mid 60's. I told Jim I didn't want to know what he had planned today for our anniversary, all I knew was what to wear and what time we needed to leave. I was so excited. I think I miss the adrenalin I use to get and don't too much anymore. We left a little after 10am to get to Raleigh and when he pulled up and parked, the sign was for Segway tours. WOW, I knew we were in for some fun.

The tour was all over downtown Raleigh. There were 7 of us in the tour. The instructions were about 10 minutes with some practice in the room. Then out we all went in single file. The guide had a microphone and we wore earpieces listening to him explaining the history of Raleigh. We never knew there were so many Government buildings in town. I know it makes sense that it's the Capital, but just didn't know there were more buildings hidden. We had a great time and the whole thing was about an hour and half. It's all done with body weight, your toes and heels. It's so easy and fun to do. I'd advise anyone that gets near a Segway tour to do it. The price is great! It was quite windy between some of the buildings, but it sure didn't bother the Segway any.

The rest of the afternoon I tried to figure out what was wrong with the desktop computer. I loaded some new updates and now it's too slow to get anything done on it. I hope I don't have a virus, I still don't know how to clear them. I also chatted with a new chatter that's been in the RV-Dreams chat room. I just happened to click on the room and he/she was there. I also chatted with Sandra for awhile and tried out the yoville on facebook. Sorry, I'm not hooked on that one. It's too involved. I'd much rather play the one minute Bejeweled or do the puzzles. I also watched the Martinsville race, luckily it wasn't raining today.

We had lunch at Zaxby's and dinner brought in from the nearest Chinese place. What a day and evening.

An update on the condo, it's been such bad weather there's been no viewers yet. I also checked for the virtual tour and nothing up on the site yet. Maybe this next week will be better weather wise and we can get a couple people in here. We have time, just don't like the empty rooms.

Days left to leave for the wedding 58
