Shalimar, FL (Hi 70 Lo 65)
I forgot to do the blog yesterday. I lost a day some where along the week.
Last week was a mish mash of all kinds of things.
Sunday: I had four zoom meetings with one thing or another. I love those, some are classes some just people that chat and others is for learning. Fun!
Monday was Wii bowling, nothing new there. The weather has been great so I've been sitting outside and talking with neighbors a lot of the time. I do play cards nightly and on Monday's I'm with the GBM gals that helped me so much before Jim died. The gals all lost husbands due to Glioblastoma. (brain cancer)
Tuesday I helped with United Way, we did popcorn packages. That's fun to do with a bunch of people. I went to diamond art then right on into meditation. Then home and sat outside.
Wednesday I decided to go to Niceville to be with a big group of crocheters and knitters. I haven't gone in awhile. I'm still working on Minnie Mouse (Mickie is done). For some reason the stitch count was off and I had a hard time getting the rows looking good. After four tries another gal gave me a tip on how to bypass the pattern and get it right. I should be on the way to getting it done by next week. I'm still watching Survivor in the evening. It's season 50 and I've still only missed one episode. It's changed so much during the years.
Thursday I help put the community bulletins fold and stuff. That takes several hours, but this time only two and half hours with more helpers. I did leave a half hour early to go to crochet group in another village like normal.
Friday was labs. I made it there on time and since I can check in from the car that made it so fast and convenient. I went to Walmart for my three month grocery shopping and put that all away when I got home. That was the whole day.
Saturday it was our 56 wedding anniversary and I had forgot all about it. A friend text me telling me about it and she was thinking of me. wow. that's the first time I forgot that. Is that mean forgetting things is now the norm? I don't like that, another thing with getting older.
Just a couple pictures. This is the update on village 7 that's being built. (Click on photos to enlarge).
