Nine More Working Hours

Cold this morning, it keeps going back and forth being nice and warm then cold again. This is Friday, but my boss needed me one extra hour, so it was 9-5. It's a 30 hour work week, which will help for next week. ONLY 9 hours of work to go and we're off to the West coast.

When you know you're getting close to a time or date you're looking forward to, everything either bugs you or you shrug it off thinking it's not going to last much longer. Jim and I are having that feeling about our work. The little things that grips you everyday will soon be over and we're both looking forward to quitting work so we can play.

I picked up Jim's computer yesterday from the shop, so he has been putting all the software and getting it back in shape the way he wants it. He says it runs a lot faster. I'm wondering if he got hit with a virus that made it go down, ya never know.

I've been playing a lot with the Facebook and those in the RV-Dreams chatroom have been doing the same thing. I read on the yahoo news today that a hacker got in on one of the people profile and caused a lot of problems. Nothing fun is safe when it comes to computers. Sometimes it can be down right scary. It's neat to know what all our friends are doing though and getting to know each other.

We had a birthday party in the chatroom last night for Ellie. Those parties are so fun, you can eat and drink anything and everything with no hangovers or gaining weight. What a great time, thanks chatters.

I noticed on the way to work this morning they're clearing out the condo that had the worst of the water damage. It looked like all the walls were taken out and the carpet and some of the flooring. What a mess. I guess to answer Speedy's question on the blog, it's cheaper to fix then to insulate all the units. I hope we're done with colder weather for this winter.
