My hours at work were 9-1, and it went fast. I worked on a proposal for awhile then finished up details for weeklies for tomorrows reports. When I got home I had a letter from the bank saying the check from our company bounced, so I went to the bank to put it back through again. It's my turn, everyone else in the office has experienced it, but I hadn't, so I was waiting. I'm hoping tomorrows will be ok, we need it for the trip in February. We'll see what happens.
When I got home, I talked to Speedy (Joe) from RV-Dreams family for a bit trying to figure out why he can't stay in the chatroom with us at night. Only ideas, we're both not computer savvy enough to figure it out. It was good talking to him about retirement, he's just a few months ahead of us. Thank you Speedy.
I shredded a bunch more papers and sorted out some stuff to throw out. I'm boxing up some more little things to take to the donations places.
Last night a recipe was mentioned for No Bake Cookies. I can't get them to work right if it's raining, so when the weather is good and the humidity is low is the best time to make them. It's simple and there's several names for them. They're even on google.com.
No Bake Cookies
2 cups sugar
1/2 c milk
1 stick butter
4 tabls cocoa
Bring to full boil, no stirring once it starts boiling, but stir to get ingredients mixed. Boil only 3 minutes. NOTE: put a drop or two in cold water, if it goes into a ball when you stir it, it's done.
Remove from heat and put in (quickly do this) the vanilla, oats and peanut butter. Stir well and drop by tablespoon on wax paper. I put wax paper on top of newspaper so it doesn't stick or mark the tabletop. DO NOT over boil and work quickly, once it cools it's hard to make into cookies.
2 teas vanilla
Add 1 1/2 cups quick oatmeal
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 cups sugar
1/2 c milk
1 stick butter
4 tabls cocoa

1/2 cup peanut butter
This is great for snacks. Enjoy

Florida's humidity is HIGH so maybe I will have to wait for a cool day or until we hit the road again... Thanks for the recipe
