(Edwardsville, IL) Hi 56 Lo 46 -- All day it was rain, and a lot of it. Grand kids Kyle and Kendall were off school today, so they came up with a plan to go to Dave and Buster’s, a combination restaurant and video arcade in St. Louis.
We were very surprised to discover that minors have to be accompanied by an adult because they serve alcohol. It's a large place and there were so many different games, many of them we have never seen before.

My old favorite Pac-Man is still around.

This one was Kendall's favorite. It's a small enclosed booth with a dog fighting simulation game on a surround screen. He said it was really cool!
One of the attendants told Jim that keeping all the games in operating condition is a nightmare. We saw a few that were out of service. Anyone who is mechanically inclined and needs a job, I’m sure they’d be glad to hire you. :)
We took the kids back to their home and visited a couple hours, then came back to the RV for the evening. It’s still rainy and chilly outside, but we're warm and comfy inside. Life is good.
See you tomorrow.
