Thanksgiving - Day Trip - Craft Fair

Shalimar, FL   (Hi  73  Lo 53)

Temperatures were up and down this week. A coat one day and shorts a couple days later.

The week started on Sunday with setting up a new PC. I love doing that and this one should have been fast but ended up a real problem. We had very little passwords. I had to start from the beginning and create passwords, once I got it to the point of clicking on "forgot password". I worked a few hours had it setup but when she went to get in it on Monday, it didn't let her. I went back Monday put in the password I setup and it was fine. She now has a new PC.

Monday was Wii bowling, one more to go for this season. The 16 weeks went fast.

Tuesday, was diamond art and meditation. I had to leave early to get to the zoom meeting with financial advisor. That was quite interesting and I'm keeping things as they are. He said there shouldn't be much change at all from 2025 in the next year's financial world. Let's hope he's right.

Wednesday we had crafters corner. A few of us are getting final things made for the craft fair. Everyone was doing something different. I went to the dining room with decorating committee to setup for Thanksgiving. That took a couple hours. Rolling silverware in napkins if the first photo. (Click on the photos to enlarge)

Setting up and decorating tables

There were 460 people sign up for dinner this year. Two different times and a time to pick up to go meals. What a lot of work.

Thursday, THANKSGIVING!  We had our own dinner in our village with 11 of us. We all brought a dish and what great food! We have the best cooks in our group.

We stayed till 4:00, I went home for a bit and back to play cards.

Friday, which seemed like Sunday, went to DeFuniak Springs with a neighbor. She had a friend at an RV park that she wanted to see. The couple had just arrived and she used to be in the park with them. We went downtown to check out decorations. I love this house.
There's a lake that used to be a forest and now there's tons of stumps with the water being so low. Not good for swimming or boating.
It doesn't look dangerous, but there's more stumps in this area too.
A real pretty mural
Marina
Nice boat at almost sunset
We came back home and had pizza at the Cheers Pub. What a great day!

Saturday, Time to start Christmas shopping so I did a couple of hours getting the orders lined up and for who and what. I also went to a really nice craft fair in downtown Ft. Walton Beach. Here's a few pictures.

This is the booth that our activities gal does at shows.

Some of the gals got together to decorate our lounge.  It's becoming to look like Christmas!

Next blog will be the first week in December!!!
