Shalimar, FL (Hi 81 Lo 72) Perfect Temps and low humidity
I don't think I can get another event in on the calendar, but I seem to keep adding. I'm thrilled to have things to do and people to meet. This life at Bob Hope Village is for me. I do a lot that I don't post, so there's a lot more going on.
Sunday I worked on a gals computer that's not in our village. We had to do a factory reset for what she wanted and it worked. Four hours later it was what she needed. Another project mostly done, I need to go back to set icons on desktop, she wasn't sure what she wanted when I was there.
Monday was WII bowling and I crocheted some orders. I started a manger set and will make some turtles in the left over time in the evenings.
Tuesday I followed a neighbor to take her car to the garage in another town. That took only a half hour. I got back in time for diamond art and the picture I was doing is done. It took 4 months. I'm glad to have it for Halloween.

I had a zoom podcast at noon and meditation at 1pm. That took some doing, but I made it. I left meditation a couple minutes early to get to massage and chiropractor appointment. I got home, ate and had another zoom meeting. Tuesdays are always fun. It's playing the game of beat the clock. Remember that show?
Wednesday was something new. I went with a neighbor to another crochet group in Niceville and met more crocheters. It's a bigger group but a lot of them are from our Thursday group. I'll be joining them off and on. At least I can work on my orders six hours if I go both days to crochet. One is a quilter too and I took two photos from some champion quilters group she had seen.

The Wednesday group
My next stop was back to the commons for crafters corner. This one is bring whatever you work on it. It was super to see so many different projects our ladies do in spare time.

Braided dog pulls and toys with fleece
The whole group
I left that to go to Core exercise class. I love this class. You dance sitting in a chair. My knee still kills me but I don't have to move it when it starts throwing pain, I can use the other leg/knee. Then on Wednesday's after dinner is Survivor.
Thursday started with United Way making 200 bags of goodies for children. The United Way comes often for us to put together or make things for them.

On my way home there was a sun dog above the apartments. It's usually a sign of bad weather. It's suppose to cool down and give us storms Saturday and Sunday. I've never seen one of those be wrong.
Of course I made another Cowboy gnome. It seems to be the most popular team.
A lady gave me this one to do. Oh boy, this will be fun!!!
Friday was all about zooms. I had four zooms the whole day. Some I could crochet while on them, a couple I couldn't but I love my interaction around the world at times.
Saturday I was waiting for this all year. I did the same thing last year, I took the bus to DeFuniak to the Harvest Festival. It's a winery that has 50+ vendors and tasting wine. I came back with a dozen of the wines. Four were from last year. It was a great day in the sun and shade, good food, vendors and music. It was a long stay but I went by bus and enjoyed the company of another gal. It's a great day to end the week.
This is one of the vendors with puppets
Jeans sides made with ties. Wonder how many she sold
What I wanted was wine, the line was long
Music was great!
Lots of people
Corin one of our activities gals was dancing with her dad.
Next week is Halloween and the end of the month.
