Massage - Project - Weather

Shiloh, IL  (Hi  38  Lo 32)

Tuesday I had my monthly massage and chiropractor appointment. It's been up and down temperatures which is making my neck hurt more and I've had headaches. I have arthritis in the neck and it's not getting any better. Dr said I should get a wrap around neck massager so that's in the plans this week.

Thursday I met with a gal from the craft fair I went to in October. She lost her cochairman last year and I  wanted to fill the position. I have experience with doing craft fair in Florida in our park. This one has 50 tables. The gal knows a little about computers but I made the list out and got it all started for the vendor applicants. We'll get it them sent out in middle of March. I'm so glad to be able to do it. I'll sell my "critters" and still help vendors.

I crocheted and worked on a puzzle plus still trying to learn the guitar. I have two fingers that just don't want to press on the strings without doing thuds, but I'm not giving up. It's fun to keep trying and if I don't get it, nothing lost. I can do songs without chords which is what I was thinking of doing in the first place. Remembering where the notes are is a different thing. Keeps the mind active.

The weather has been up and down this week. High 60's and low teens. We had rain one day, by the next day it was ice for a bit then snow. Swirling snow that was tiny but blowing in circles. I keep forgetting how neat that looks. I'm hoping next year I'll be in Florida for three months. I'm still working on getting down there especially during the winters coldest months.

I was waiting for the geese to break thru the ice, but they didn't.

I'm still fighting almost daily with the electric company that has two of my payments but no one can find them. They promised not to turn off the electric. As of today, one payment was found, but still searching for the February payment. I wish companies would do their jobs better.

This has been a long week. It's finally Saturday. I'm not sure what next week will bring, but it too will eventually pass. See you next week.

Newcomers Meeting - Zoom - Emerald Coast Band

Shalimar, FL  (Hi 64  Lo 40)   This week went so slow. When you're retired the days get all mixed up and some go so slow you skip a day...
