Carry Out - Video Chats - Keeping Busy

Auburndale, FL (HI  85  Lo 60)     During the Convid 19 Shutdown

We usually eat out once a week and now that restaurants are closed it's hard to do. We used a couple take out companies to see who would deliver, Grubhub is one of them and they had listed Sal's Pizza in Auburndale. They have a huge menu, not just pizza. They were on time and it was a very good meal. We'll do that again. We're finding several new places to order from in the next few weeks.

The other thing I've done quite a bit this week is video chats. I learned how to do Zoom that can handle several people at the same time. The other is messenger thru Facebook. Zoom has a better and clearer picture. I've been talking to RV'ers and finding out what's going on with travels. The parks have closed, and it's been hard for full time RV'ers to find a place to stay.  Also a couple that have been off the road have been in the chats. The chatroom I have every night also has video chat.  It's good to SEE people rather then just chat with them. It may be awhile yet that we see anyone.

I love this shirt.  It tells all.

I've been really busy. I got one order done. The 14 coozies are ready to go. I'll either send or take to the lady that ordered them once the shutdown is lifted. It's a Christmas present for her family.

The next project is adding granny squares to the edge of an afghan. The gal needs it bigger. It shouldn't take long,

The moon was gorgeous and bright this week. It's called a Pink moon.  We happened to have clear skies to be able to see it.

We both look for alone time and sitting on the dock is just the place to go when it's time for a getaway. Jim walks about three miles a day and I walk to the dock. I don't go every day but it was windy and you can get immersed in the waves with your thoughts.

The Sandhill cranes have been around all week and the 5 alligators have been on the other side of the canal, so we still have things around the canal and lake to watch. We're in a paradise (except for humidity).
