Movie Day

(Cherry Point MCAS, Havelock, NC) Hi 72 Lo 58 --  We had great weather on Monday so we both went for a walk. I went to the marina down at the river and got there just in time to see several marines launching their canoes. They were all awkward at it and had a time getting them going. Maybe it was the first time out. (Click on pictures to enlarge.) 

I haven't posted much about the park since we got here. Here's a few pictures. 
The sign where you turn off the main base road. From here it's about 3/4 mile to the park.

Today (Tuesday) we went again to Jacksonville to see the movie Ex Machina. It's a well made science fiction movie and we both enjoyed it very much. We recommend it if you like movies that leave you thinking about it at the end. 

The theater had their computer room on display inside a glass enclosed room. The only time we've ever seen that was at an Imax theater. It was pretty cool looking.
