HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!

(Carson City, NV) Hi 91 Lo 54 -- Happy 4th of July to all our friends and family. And also, happy birthday America!

We had beautiful weather and even sat outside today. It was very breezy, but not the kind of wind that blows you away. Linda and George came over and we grilled brats and burgers. 

George is looking out over the field behind us. Our neighbor told us that the city fireworks display will be launched across this field this evening. We're not sure if it will happen if these winds keep up. Also, there have been a lot of fire warning alerts the past couple of weeks, so we'll see...

We had a good time and some good laughs. We watched the Nationwide race from Dayton all evening. We only have two more days here, which is sad in a way because we'll be saying goodbye to our good friends. But we must move on.
