Yesterday we had a smooth 235-mile trip from Lake City to Defuniak Springs.
We made one quick stop and got to our park in four and a half hours. We've stayed at this park before, in 2012. It has lots of activities for the winter snowbirds. By coincidence we have the same site as we did the last time we were here. It’s a pull thru full hookup site bordered by some pretty azaleas. (click on the pictures to enlarge)
There’s a chapel in the park, which is a nice touch.
Some rental cabins.
The lake is a lot higher than our last visit, when the water level was so low there were lots of trees sticking up out of the water.
You can rent a small pondoon boat.
Looks like they show movies here.
Play area for the young'uns.
Pool and bathhouse
The office and store
Large clubhouse.
Shoot some baskets, anyone?
While we were setting up a guy on a golf cart was running his dog. All of sudden the dog took off after a rabbit and almost pulled the guy out of the cart. The dog wrapped around a tire on a car and was pulling hard to get at that rabbit. The rabbit took off across the yard and so did the dog. The guy was still hanging on to the leash and the steering wheel of the cart but the whole incident was so funny. The dog wasn't that big, but the guy said he was all muscle. It was so funny and the highlight of our day.
Friday we went to Crestview to get our mail. We've used MYRVMAIL.com from the time we decided to go full time. They are enlarging their office again and putting up more bins in another building for new people joining them. We’ve been really pleased with their service, so it was good to stop in again and see the employees.
Some storms are coming in from the west and we went through a shower on the way home. There may be some stronger storms later tonight. We spent the rest of the day watching recorded TV shows.
Tomorrow we leave Florida and move farther west to Gulfport, MS to another park we've been to before. We're anxious to get to some new areas. See you in two days.

Wish we were travelling with you! Nice park :-)
Safe Travels... pay attention to those storms!!!
Ah, time to move on. Don't let the moss grow.
If you had recorded the dog and golf fiasco you may have had a winner for AFVs!
