(Edwardsville, IL) Hi 70 Lo 57 -- The two grandkids spent the night and it was late by the time they finally settled down and went to sleep. Kyle (the oldest) would pick on Kendall (the youngest) by hogging the covers. It reminded us of our boys when they were the same age. We were both laughing at them from our bedroom.
We got up at 7:00 this morning but the boys weren’t quite ready to rise. It was difficult getting them up. Our solution: pull the covers off them, then when that didn't work, pull the plug on the air mattress. That did it. :) We had to get them to the first day of sports camp. Kyle is entering high school and he started soccer camp, and Kendall had basketball camp.
After we dropped them off we went to IHOP for breakfast, then came home and cleaned up the RV. We’re winding down our stay in this area. We leave Thursday morning so we're starting to get into departure mode.
We have a field beside us and today was the first day in awhile that we had sunshine. The water is stagnant and starting to smell so we're glad to get some sunny and warmer weather to dry it up.
Puddles beside the RV.
We both took time out for a mile walk. This evening Jim watched sports on TV while I was on chat and read blogs. Tomorrow we’re going to Troy, MO for one last visit to mom and sis before we leave.

You will surely miss those boys, won't you. It sounds like you've had a good visit.
Sounds like you had an amazing time although the weather didn't permit the best situation.
