SEAFOOD at the Casino

(Joliet, IL) Hi 77 Lo 54 -- A beautiful day with mild temperatures. This is the way we like it in our travels.

I watched the news coverage of the fires out in Colorado this morning. We were in Colorado Springs last year in the same place the fires are now. It saddens us that so many people lost their homes. It's so gorgeous out in that area.

We didn't have anything planned today so we decided to go to a movie. There's a second run theater nearby that was showing Olympus Has Fallen. It's almost time for it to go to DVD, so we figured there wouldn't be many people there. We were right, there was just a handful of people. The theater was nice, and so was the admission price at $1.25 each. The movie was very entertaining and had lots of action.

We went back to the RV and chilled until dinner time. We had been looking forward to going to the casino for their Friday Epic Seafood Buffet. We went last year and really enjoyed it. They had all-you-can-eat Alaskan King Crab legs. I had two plates full, and they were delicious!

Jim isn't a fan of crab legs so he had steak and fried chicken.

We waddled back to the RV and finished the evening with TV and chat room.

I love crabmeat but don't want to work to get it. I prefer crabcakes!
