Mom's Visit Comes to an End

(Edwardsville, IL) Hi 80 Lo 63 -- It was a very rough night, sleep-wise. When we went to bed we heard a bird squawking (or singing, if you're a bird lover) right outside our window. We figured it would stop eventually, but it only seemed to get louder during the night. After both of us layed awake for what seemed   the whole night, we finally got to sleep and didn't wake up until about 9am.

My sis came over this afternoon and visited for a while then took mom back with her. It’s an hour and a half drive so she didn't stay long. She wanted to get mom home early so she could settle back in and unpack.
 
All we did today was catch up on some TV shows. I did get a few more pictures of the park. (click on pictures to enlarge)




This field is right outside our door. I love watching the storms come in.

The name of the park is Red Barn Rendezvous. This is the red barn, which is the owners' house. They live here and operate the park during the summer, then leave in their RV for warmer weather during the winter.



We really like it here, but wish the wi-fi was faster. We're having to use our Verizon 4G more than we prefer. I guess we can’t have everything. 

We cleaned up the RV a bit, then watched the NASCAR All Star race. We’re hoping for a good nights sleep with no squawking bird.
